About BecomeHH
BecomeHH — short for Become House Holder — exists for one reason: to help people stop renting and start owning, anywhere in the world, using real numbers instead of guesswork.
What we do
We build free, no-sign-up calculators and guides covering the entire home-buying journey: the rent-vs-buy decision, hidden purchase costs, down-payment planning, mortgage comparison across 36 real banks in 12 countries, and early-repayment strategy. Every data point — notary fees, property taxes, bank rates, prepayment laws — is sourced from official government, notary and bank publications, with citations shown inside each tool.
Why we built it
Property advice is usually local, fragmented, or hidden behind someone's commission. International buyers, expats and first-timers deserve a single place where the math is transparent and the data is comparable across borders. BecomeHH was created by a home owner with professional backgrounds in architecture, interior design and financial analysis — born from the experience of actually doing this, not just writing about it.
